A Hostel in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand – Rest is More

Namaste !!

Hope everyone is doing great. Today I would like to share my experience in Rest is More hostel so that it helps any fellow traveller looking for a stay in Bangkok, Thailand.

About the Place

I was in the hostel for 3 days and well for a newbie like me in Thailand, the place turned out to be a blessing for so many reasons. When you are travelling to a different country and you are searching for a hostel what do you generally look for? Maybe location, comfortable beds, spacious room, safety, etc. Well let me tell not only you will get all of these but also more amazingly you will feel like you are in home surrounded by the beautiful staff members who are available to assist 24/7. I didn’t feel like I was staying in a hostel.

You will get a complimentary breakfast and free wifi is available inside the hostel. Shared kitchen and lounge are available. Shower rooms and washrooms are in plenty and extremely well maintained. The beds are soft and comfy, and you wouldn't feel like getting up from bed. Laundry service and other facilities are available as well and all you need to do is ask the staff and they will guide you. I don't remember the name of the maid, but she was too kind and greeted everyone, every time she passed by.

Places to explore near the Hostel

I couldn't gather the best of the pictures, but I hope they are good enough for the readers to understand how warm and sweet the hostel can be. In addition, regarding the nearby places around the hostel, the temple of the Golden Mount is about a 10-minute walk from the hostel and Khao San Road also known as the bagpacker's partying and chilling hub is just 2 kms from the hostel. Moreover, the national museum is in the radius of 3 km.

Budget

Budget is always something everyone looks up to when you are in a budget travelling mode. Rest is More provides a very affordable rate for tourists worldwide. Average price of one bed is 10$ (700 INR approx.). They have Dorm Beds that includes Standard 8 Bed Mixed Dorm and Standard 4 Bed Mixed Dorm with mixed accommodation.

My experience in Rest Is More

In short, to conclude, Rest is More is amazing and quiet Hostel and I had a comfortable stay. Beds are super comfy. Rooms are cute with some healthy Asian breakfast and not to forget the super friendly staff.

Thailand has always been known for its magnificent culture and generously kind-hearted people and that can be felt and seen anywhere in this country. Lastly, a very simple but a deep question to end this blog. When you are in a different nation surrounded by different people of different communities speaking a different language, but you can still strongly feel connected and understand them and feel happy about it, how do you define this moment?

Feel free to share your opinions and I would like to hear your stories of travelling as well.
